Getting Started with ShareWiseAI
Sign up, connect your first platform, and create your first social media post
This guide walks you through signing up for ShareWiseAI, connecting your first social media platform, and creating your first post. You can be up and running in about 10 minutes.
Step 1: Create Your Account
- Visit sharewiseai.com and click Start Free -- 7-Day Pro Trial
- Sign up with your email address
- You start with a 7-day Pro trial that gives you full access to Pro features, then transition to the Free plan (or stay on Pro if you upgrade)
No credit card is required to start.
Step 2: Explore the Dashboard
After signing in, you land on the ShareWiseAI dashboard. The navigation bar gives you access to all the key areas:
- Dashboard -- Your home base with an overview of recent posts, upcoming scheduled content, and quick stats
- Calendar -- A visual content calendar showing all your posts by date
- Compose -- Where you create and schedule new posts
- Library -- Your media library for images, videos, and other assets
- Analytics -- Performance data across all your connected platforms
- Campaigns -- Organize posts into themed campaigns
- Platforms -- Connect and manage your social media accounts
- Settings -- Account preferences and subscription management
Step 3: Connect Your First Platform
Before you can publish, you need to connect at least one social media account.
- Go to Platforms in the navigation
- You will see a list of available platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok)
- Click Connect next to the platform you want to add
- You will be redirected to that platform's authorization page
- Sign in and grant ShareWiseAI permission to post on your behalf
- You will be redirected back to ShareWiseAI with a confirmation message
The Free plan allows up to 3 connected platforms. If you need more, see Billing for plan details.

Step 4: Create Your First Post
- Go to Compose in the navigation
- Select your platforms -- Click the platform buttons at the top to choose where to publish. Selected platforms are highlighted in navy blue. You can post to multiple platforms at once.
- Write your content -- Type your post in the text editor. Character counters for each selected platform appear below the editor so you can see if your text fits within platform limits.
- Add media (optional) -- Use the Media section to upload images, videos, or GIFs. Note that Instagram requires at least one image or video.
- Add a link (optional) -- Enter a URL in the Link field. UTM tracking parameters are added automatically when the post is published.
- Assign to a campaign (optional) -- If you have created campaigns, select one from the dropdown.
- Choose when to post:
- Post Now -- Publishes immediately to all selected platforms
- Schedule -- Pick a date and time for future publishing
- Click Publish Now or Schedule Post to confirm
You can also click Save Draft at any time to save your work without publishing.
Step 5: Use AI to Generate Content
On the Compose screen, you will see an AI Generate panel on the right side. This is one of ShareWiseAI's most powerful features:
- Describe what you want to say (e.g., "Invite people to Easter Sunday service at 9am and 11am")
- The AI generates platform-optimized content for each of your selected platforms
- Click Insert to use the generated text, then edit as needed
The AI understands your church context and generates content that matches the tone and character limits for each platform. The Free plan includes 5 AI generations per month; Pro includes 50; Business and Agency plans include unlimited generations.
