Activating your Pro Website

Pro Website comes in two plans — pick the one that fits your church:

1. Go to churchwiseai.com/pro-website and click Get Started. Choose your plan on the checkout page.
2. Enter your church name, city, and a contact email. We create a Stripe subscription at your chosen price (no trial — your preview is the trial).
3. After payment, you receive a magic-link email. Click it to open your admin dashboard at churchwiseai.com/admin/[token].
4. Your initial site publishes to a preview URL immediately. You can use it and share it while you finish customizing.

If you never get the email: check spam, then re-request the link from the login page. If it still doesn’t arrive within 5 minutes, contact us and we’ll provision it manually.

Customizing your site

Everything is edited in the Website tab of your admin dashboard. Changes go live within 60 seconds via incremental static regeneration — no deploy needed.

Hero section

• Hero photo — upload one photo. We can also render a custom looping hero video for you (included with Pro Website) — email us with your photo preference and we’ll turn it around within 3 business days.
• Hero music — choose from 6 denominational music tracks or supply your own. Default volume is 18%.
• Color scheme — 12 denominational presets, or customize your primary, accent, and text colors.

Content sections

• Service times — day, time, and service name. Renders in the hero and on the dedicated services page.
• Staff — name, role, headshot, short bio. No limit on team size.
• Upcoming events — title, date, description. Auto-hides past events.
• Beliefs / statement of faith — markdown-aware text area. Use our denominational templates as a starting point.
• Giving link — paste your Tithe.ly / PushPay / Breeze URL. The “Give” button in the header routes here.
• Contact form — submissions land in your admin dashboard (Requests tab) and email the addresses you configured under Settings → Notifications.

Adding more pages

Your site starts as one polished home page, but you can add up to 8 more pages — About, Ministries, Sermons, Contact, or a blank page. Open the Pages group in the Website editor and click Add page: pick a starter template (it pre-fills sensible blocks) or start blank, then build the page from simple blocks — headings, text, images, buttons, or a staff/ministries/sermons/contact block that reuses content you have already entered. Reorder or rename pages anytime; each appears in your site’s navigation. Extra pages are included in every Pro Website plan at no extra charge, and go live when you press Publish like every other edit.

If your church keeps its calendar in Planning Center, open the Events section, switch the source to Planning Center, and paste your Church Center calendar feed link — your events then stay in sync automatically with no double entry.

Your .john316.church URL

Your public site lives at yourchurch.john316.church — a clean, faith-aligned vanity URL that’s easy to share from bulletins, social media, and business cards.

• Your slug is set during onboarding (and editable under Settings). Once changed, the old slug redirects to the new one for 30 days, so you won’t break incoming links.
• Already own a custom domain like yourchurch.org? The bundled Pro Website + Chat tier ($19.95/mo) includes self-serve custom domain setup for $49.95 one-time (waived on annual plans). Set it up in your admin dashboard’s Website tab under Domain — your custom site goes live within 24 hours of your DNS update.

Site + Chat Starter — $19.95/mo

Everything in Site Only, plus a Chat Starter AI bot embedded directly on your Pro Website. Visitors can ask questions and get instant, AI-powered answers based on your church’s own content. The chatbot is managed from the same admin dashboard — no separate account needed.

Not sure which to choose? Start with Site Only at $14.95/mo. You can add Chat Starter at any time from the Upgrade tab in your dashboard — your billing switches immediately, no re-onboarding needed.

Want to add a full Voice Agent (AI phone answering) as well? Voice plans start at $49.95/mo and can be added on top of any Pro Website plan — upgrade in-place from the Upgrade tab.

Canceling

Cancel from the Settings tab in your admin dashboard. Your site stays live until the end of the current billing period. After that:

• Your public subdomain returns a friendly “site ended” page
• Your admin dashboard remains accessible for 90 days in case you reactivate
• Your hero photo/video and uploaded content is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion

Changed your mind? Click Reactivate within 90 days and everything comes back — no re-upload, no reconfiguration.

Troubleshooting

My subdomain shows “site not found.”

Give DNS up to 15 minutes after onboarding. If still 404 after that, check the Settings tab — your vanity_slug should be populated. If not, contact us.

My hero video hasn’t rendered yet.

Custom hero video render turnaround is up to 3 business days. Until then, your hero photo displays. You can always replace it with a different photo in the meantime.

A content change isn’t showing on my public site.

Wait 60 seconds then hard-refresh. We use ISR caching — edits propagate within a minute. If it’s been longer, contact us — occasionally a cache flush is needed.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes — the bundled Pro Website + Chat plan ($19.95/mo) includes self-serve custom domain setup for $49.95 one-time (waived on annual plans). Set it up in your admin dashboard under the Website tab, Domain section. Your custom site goes live within 24 hours of your DNS update.
