The ChurchWiseAI Voice Agent is an AI-powered phone assistant that answers calls to your church 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Whether someone calls during office hours, on a Sunday morning, or at 2 AM, your voice agent picks up and provides a warm, helpful response.
What It Does
Your voice agent handles the most common questions callers ask:
- Service times — "What time is your Sunday service?"
- Location and directions — "Where are you located?" or "How do I get there?"
- Office hours — "When is the church office open?"
- Staff information — "Can I speak to the pastor?"
- Prayer requests — "I would like to submit a prayer request"
- Event details — "Do you have any upcoming events?"
- General questions — "What denomination are you?" or "Do you have a children's ministry?"
The agent speaks naturally and conversationally — callers often do not realize they are speaking with an AI.
When It Escalates
The voice agent knows its limits. When a caller needs something beyond what the AI can handle, it will:
- Let the caller know it will pass their message along to a staff member
- Collect the caller's name and phone number
- Log the request in your admin dashboard for follow-up

How It Sounds
The voice agent uses professional voice synthesis to sound natural and welcoming. By default, it greets callers with your church's name:
"Thank you for calling Grace Community Church. How can I help you today?"
