Onboarding Walkthrough
A step-by-step guide to setting up your ChurchWiseAI account from start to dashboard
Getting your church set up on ChurchWiseAI takes about five minutes. Here is the full process from start to finish.
Step 1: Choose Your Plan
Start by visiting churchwiseai.com/pricing to review the available plans:
- Chat Starter ($9.95/mo) — Embeddable chat widget with church FAQ answering
- Chat Pro ($29.95/mo) — RAG knowledge base, theological tradition support, visitor capture
- Chat Suite ($49.95/mo) — White-label, analytics dashboard, document upload
- Voice Starter ($29.95/mo) — 24/7 AI phone answering, up to 100 calls/month
- Voice Pro ($59.95/mo) — Unlimited calls, transcripts, Planning Center + Cal.com integrations
- Voice + Chat Bundle ($79.95/mo) — Voice Pro + Chat Pro at the best value
Click "Get Started" on your chosen plan to begin.
Annual pricing is not yet available for ChurchWiseAI products. All plans are billed monthly.
Step 2: Enter Your Church Details
After selecting a plan, you will land on the onboarding page at churchwiseai.com/onboard. Fill in your church details:
- Church name
- Your name and email (for your admin account)
- City, state, and address
If your church already exists in our directory of 240,000+ churches, we will match it automatically. If not, we create a new listing for you.
You can always start with one product and upgrade later from within your dashboard.
Step 3: Complete Checkout
After entering your details:
- You are taken to a secure Stripe checkout page
- Enter your billing information
- Confirm your subscription
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Your card information never touches our servers. The checkout includes a 14-day free trial so you can explore the platform before your first charge.
Stripe is currently in test mode while we finalize payment processing. You can use the test card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future expiration date and CVC to try it out.
After Payment: Your Dashboard
Once your payment is confirmed, two things happen:
- You receive an email with a secure magic link to your admin dashboard
- Your church is activated with your chosen plan features
Your dashboard lives at a URL like:
https://churchwiseai.com/admin/your-unique-token
Click the link in your email to access your dashboard immediately. We recommend bookmarking this link for easy access later. No username or password is needed — just the magic link.
What to Do Next
Once you are in your dashboard, you will see six tabs: Overview, Calls, Requests, Care, Settings, and Upgrade. Here is what to tackle first:
- Review your church details (Settings tab) — Make sure your address, phone number, service times, and description are up to date
- Set up your Voice Agent (Settings tab) — Customize your greeting and call handling preferences
- Enable your Chatbot (Settings tab) — Turn on the chat widget and grab the embed code for your website
- Invite your team (Settings tab) — Add staff members with the appropriate roles (Admin, Office Admin, Prayer Team, Care Team, Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, or Worship Leader)
- Explore your Overview (Overview tab) — See your activity metrics at a glance
