Onboarding Walkthrough
A step-by-step guide to setting up your ChurchWiseAI account from start to dashboard
Getting your church set up on ChurchWiseAI takes about five minutes. Here is the full process from start to finish.
Step 1: Choose Your Plan
Start by visiting churchwiseai.com/pricing to review the available plans:
- Chat Starter ($14.95/mo) — Embeddable chat widget with church FAQ answering
- Chat Pro ($34.95/mo) — RAG knowledge base, theological tradition support, visitor capture
- Chat Suite ($59.95/mo) — White-label, analytics dashboard, document upload
- Voice Starter ($49.95/mo) — 24/7 AI phone answering, up to 100 calls/month
- Voice Pro ($99.95/mo) — Up to 500 calls/mo, transcripts, Planning Center + Cal.com integrations
- Voice+Chat Starter ($54.95/mo) — Voice Starter + Chat Starter
- Voice+Chat Pro ($119.95/mo) — Voice Pro + Chat Pro — most popular
- Voice+Chat Suite ($139.95/mo) — Voice Pro + Chat Suite — best value
Click "Get Started" on your chosen plan to begin.
All prices are in USD. Annual billing is available for Chat plans. All Voice Agent and Bundle plans are billed monthly.
Step 2: Find or Create Your Church
After selecting a plan, you will land on the onboarding page at churchwiseai.com/onboard. The setup process has three short steps:
Search for Your Church
Enter your church name and optionally narrow by city and state. We will search our directory of 218,000+ churches to see if your church is already listed.
Pick Your Church or Start Fresh
If your church appears in the results, select it. If it does not, click "My church is not listed" to create a new one. You can change your selected plan from a dropdown if you want to switch tiers at this point.
Enter Your Contact Information
Fill in the details for your admin account:
- Your name
- Email address (where your magic link and billing receipts will be sent)
- Phone number
- Church name (if creating a new church)
- Optionally, a backup owner name and email (so the account is never locked to one person)
You can always start with one product and upgrade later from within your dashboard.
Step 3: Complete Checkout
After entering your details:
- You are taken to a secure Stripe checkout page
- Enter your billing information
- Confirm your subscription
Checkout is powered by Stripe and accepts all major credit cards. Your card information never touches our servers. If you selected a Chat plan, checkout includes a 14-day free trial. Voice Agent and Bundle plans begin billing immediately.
After Payment: Your Dashboard
Once your payment is confirmed, two things happen:
- You receive an email with a secure magic link to your admin dashboard
- Your church is activated with your chosen plan features
Your dashboard lives at a URL like:
https://churchwiseai.com/admin/your-unique-token
Click the link in your email to access your dashboard immediately. We recommend bookmarking this link for easy access later. No username or password is needed — just the magic link.
What to Do Next
Once you are in your dashboard, you will see a 10-step guided setup wizard that walks you through everything you need to configure. The wizard appears on the Overview tab and stays visible until all steps are complete. It covers:
- Church details and contact info
- Service times and hours
- Staff profiles
- Ministries and programs
- What to expect for visitors
- FAQs for the chatbot
- Voice agent greeting and preferences
- Chatbot widget setup
- Team member invitations
- Review and go live
Each step is clearly explained with instructions right in the dashboard. Complete them in any order — the wizard tracks your progress and shows what is left.
