Cancellation and Refunds
How to cancel your ChurchWiseAI subscription, what happens next, and our refund policy
We hope you love ChurchWiseAI, but if you need to cancel, the process is straightforward. Here is everything you need to know.
How to Cancel
- Open your admin dashboard at
churchwiseai.com/admin/[your-token] - Click the Upgrade tab
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm the cancellation
Your cancellation is processed immediately through Stripe.
What Happens When You Cancel
- Access continues until the end of your current billing period. If you cancel on day 10 of a monthly cycle, you still have access for the remaining 20 days.
- Voice agent stays active until the billing period ends, then stops answering calls
- Chatbot stays active until the billing period ends, then the widget stops responding
- Dashboard access remains even after cancellation so you can still view your historical data (call logs, prayer requests, transcripts)
- No more charges — you will not be billed again after cancellation unless you reactivate
Refund Policy
We handle refunds on a case-by-case basis:
- First month — If you cancel within your first month and are not satisfied, contact us at support@churchwiseai.com and we will work with you on a refund
- After the first month — Refunds are generally not available for partial months, but we are always happy to discuss your situation
We want to be fair. If something is not working right or you had a bad experience, reach out and we will do our best to make it right.
Data Retention After Cancellation
After your subscription ends:
- Call logs and transcripts remain accessible in your dashboard for 90 days
- Prayer requests remain accessible for 90 days
- Church profile data stays in our system
- After 90 days — Historical data may be archived. Contact support if you need access to older records
If you also have a PewSearch Premium Page, that is a completely separate subscription managed on PewSearch. Canceling a ChurchWiseAI subscription does not affect your PewSearch listing.
How to Reactivate
Changed your mind? You can reactivate at any time:
- Open your admin dashboard at
churchwiseai.com/admin/[your-token](your magic link still works) - Click the Upgrade tab
- Choose a plan and subscribe again
If you reactivate within 90 days, your previous data (call logs, prayer requests, settings) will still be there. Your voice agent and chatbot will need to be reconfigured if any settings were cleared.
