Scene 12 of 20 · Ruth 1-4
Ruth — A Foreigner Brought Home
Naomi comes home to Bethlehem empty, but she does not come alone. Ruth, a Moabite, refuses to leave her: "Your people shall be my people, and your God my God." In the barley harvest the foreigner gleans in the field of Boaz, who welcomes her under the wings of the LORD and, as kinsman-redeemer, brings her all the way home.
